Pricing an Item

The Seller always chooses the final sales price of his or her item(s) at AncientFaces. As a Seller, you must price your item at a reasonable amount to make sure that it attracts Buyers.

When giving your item a price, you will want to research the asking price of similar items. You don't want to over, or under, price. If there are no similar items at AncientFaces, then you might try using keywords in an Internet search engine such as Google.

Remember, prices vary because each item is unique. Availability as well as the condition of the item, along with many other factors, determine the price. Items that are unique are usually more expensive. Normally, the older the item, the more unique and scarce it is.

We recommend that Sellers include Shipping & Handling charges in the selling price of their items. Many shopping carts are abandoned on the web once Shipping & Handling fees are added during the checkout process. Adding a reasonable flat rate shipping fee to the price of the item is good practice and is well accepted.

Visit Google and try a keyword search for similar items that you wish to sell.
