Welcome to my family place, home of my Benning and Tasker family ancestors.
My father's line (photo on left): comprised of the descendants of William Frederick Benning (Beunig; Boenig) from Marburg, Germany, who arrived in the States in 1851. His son, William Joseph Benning married Immogene Nelson Millard in 1873. From the Millard side, our heritage includes the original Dutch settlers in the Hudson and Mohawk River Valleys of New York; Founding Fathers of numerous Connecticut towns; early 1600's settlers of Massachusetts.
My mother's ancestors are from South Wales and England. The Taskers, Southwells,Rees and Williams families were sailors and ship builders from Pembroke and Swansea. The Jones and Bengoughs were miners and builders from Carmarthenshire.
I have also included an 'album' of extensive photos of my school friends from Bremerton, Washington.
