Ada C. Garman, 79, Hollidaysburg, died at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of Thomas and Ethel M. Shively Grove. She was twice married: first to William S. Hileman in January 1945. He died February 28, 1979. She then married Roy Lawrence Garman November 2, 1985, in Honolulu. Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Judith Claar and Pamela Sunderland; a son, William S. Hileman Jr.; two sisters: Mary Niswonger and Jennie Grove; a brother, Thomas E.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald, in 1978; and a granddaughter, Tina S. Miller in 2004. Mrs. Garman had been employed by Sylvania, then retired as a demonstrator with Steel City Construction, Altoona.
