Orange Marmelade, One's and All that was Alice! My grandmother, my friend, my mentor. Gram was arguably one of the greatest influences on my life. She taught me about art and always encouraged me to press on and pursue my dreams. She would share orange marmelade and english muffins with me for breakfast and we would TALK! (Of course I was about 5 - so I don't know how intriguing I was) - but she fascinated me. She shared her talent and love of art,the theater and music - and often her and my mom would find me "napping" under the Steinway Piano in the living room. Later she and my mom were huge supporters and purchased my very OWN piano which I played daily and LOVED! Memories of Gram are almost daily - She is an angel in heaven - but she is still here with me. She had her moments and we would end up - laughing at how she would try to be a "skootch" and I would NEVER let her get away with it. My memories of Gram are many and invaluable. The bond between a Gram and her grand-daughter can not be explained - but it is deep and it is forever. I know I will see her again - and fondly honor her LIFE until.
