THOMASTON — Mrs. Anna (Reyda) Brasche, 96, formerly of Grove Street, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Haven Health Care Center in Torrington.
Mrs. Brasche was born April 26, 1911, in Coaldole, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Rim) Reyda. Anna had been a co-owner of Dibner's Dress Factory in Wa­terbury for many years and later owned Anne's Dress Shoppe, Main Street, Thomaston, from 1959 until her retirement in 1975.
She was a member of the Senior Citizen's of Thomaston, the Ladies Club of Thomaston and the AARP. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She was a close and loving grandmother and aunt and will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by seven grand­children, Hank Myers of Oakville, Kenny Myers of Los Angeles, Calif., Susan Shane of Mobile, Ala., Laura Brasche Westby of South­bury, Steven Brasche of South Car­olina, Michael Brasche of Thomas­ton and Mark Brasche of Plantsville; ten great-grandchil­dren; and several nephews and nieces.
Arrangements: A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Sat­urday, Aug. 25, at St. Thomas Church, Thomaston. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. Burial is in Hillside Cemetery.
