He married Olive Vera Binger ( Campbell, and had children Bertram"Campbell"Binger, Ronald Wallace Binger, and Barbara Young ( Binger. Bertram Binger died at age 83 years old in 1974 in Nathalia Hospital.

    The Age,Melbourne 21 June. 1945. TRANSPORT BOARD APPOINTMENT. Major B. J. Binger, of Nathalia, has been appointed commercial representative on the Transport Board, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Jeffrey. The Premier, making the announcement yesterday, said Major Binger had had considerable experiance in handling transport, both in business and in the army. For the past two years he had been responsible for the organisation, maintenance and control of mechanical transport activities for both A.M.F. and Allied services in Victorian L. and C. area. He served for over four years in the 1914-18 war, and was awarded the military medal for conspicuous gallantry. He re-entered the army as a lieutenant at the outbreak of the present war.
