"Gramps"
Gramps was a man of very few words, but you always knew where you stood with him! I used to love going with him on his produce truck through Dearborn selling vegetables and fruits. He would always get upset with me as I ate green beans and graphs along the way. Years later, I would work alongside him at my father's produce store on Warren Avenue. It seemed every person knew him in the area. He also sported a white t-shirt, baseball cap, cardigan sweater, black rimmed glasses and of course, his cigar! Never having a wallet, Gramps kept his money folded with a rubber band. A big player of the daily lottery, I think he lost more than he ever won. Miss him so very much!
