DONALD RAY ADKINS, 61, of West Hamlin, husband of Betty Shanholtz Adkins, died Monday in St. Marys Hospital. He retired from the Lincoln County Board of Education. Also surviving are one son, Tim Adkins of Hamlin; one daughter, Cindy Adkins of Hamlin; two brothers, Harold Adkins and Ralph Adkins, both of Sias; and two sisters, Delores Adkins and Freda Adkins, both of East Liverpool, Ohio. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamlin Baptist Church; burial in Walker Adkins Cemetery, Sias. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the church. Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, is in charge of arrangements.
