If you're wondering the 15 year old on Betty's age, I meant to say 15 months old.
Elizabeth boarded Lusitania as 2nd class with her mother Norah and brother Paul (3) on May 1, 1915. Elizabeth was 15 months old at the time and was still learning to walk and talk. 6 days later the ship was struck by a torpedo from a German submarine off the coast of Ireland. Her mother handed Elizabeth to a random man when she went to fetch her sleeping brother in their cabin. The man who had baby Elizabeth lost sight of her. Norah and her son Paul survived the sinking. Sadly Elizabeth did not. Her body was recovered later and buried among the other children's bodies that were recovered during the sinking.
