Evalyn Walsh McLean - Hope Diamond
Evalyn (nee Walsh) McLean was the last private owner of the Hope Diamond. Judging by the jewels she has on, the Hope Diamond fit right in with all her other jewelry!

Her father Thomas Walsh was an immigrant miner who made a fortune. In 1908, she married Edward Beale McLean, the heir to the Washington Post and Cincinnati Enquirer publishing fortune. She didn't believe in the curse of the Hope Diamond but there were many tragedies associated with her family life.
