Gerrit Hendrik Vennink and Wilhelmina Boon
Gerrit immigrated from Holland on bark Isabela in 1846. Wilhelmina immigrated from Holland on Ann in 1847. Married in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they were both employed at the governor's mansion on Dec 23, 1849. He was wounded at the Battle of Shiloh in the Civil War on Apr 6, 1862.
