Add Memories, Stories & Photos about Isaac

My father, Hubert Lang, who grew up and camped in the area, originally told me stories about Mr. Glasko. The village of Glasgo, in Griswold, CT bears his name, with a misspelling. Isaac married Lucy, year unknown. They had at least one son, also named Isaac, and a daughter Eliza, who attended Prudence Crandall's seminary in Canterbury before the neighbors forced it to close. Sources for Isaac Glasko's life may be found at www.griswold-ct.org,, www. findagrave.com and The New London Day newspaper, 9/22/1999. I hope this is useful to someone. Mr. Glasko was a brilliant man of many talents and should not be forgotten.
