Jean Claude Charlebois WW2 Hamburg Bombing: Andre as he was known during WW 2 was actually born in Montreal Quebec, Canada. He died during an RAF bombing raid on Hamburg Germany when his Lancater Ll687 was shot down on the night of July 28/29, 1944
All crew members were lost except the flight engineer David Scott who was captured and became a prisoner of war till the end of the war. See: [external link]
