Leslie George Chambers of Homebush Lower Australia was born in 1911 in Homebush Lower to Ada May (Rowland) Chambers and Matthew Harold Chambers. He had siblings Winifred (Chambers) Latimer, Harold 'Burt' Chambers, Mavis (Chambers) Brady, Kathleen (Chambers) Gray, Elsie Greda (Chambers) Steele, and Henry 'Harry' Frederick Chambers. He married Sylvia Isobel (Irving) Chambers, and had children Graham Leslie Chambers, Heather Chambers, and Coral Chambers. Leslie Chambers died at age 77 years old on March 15, 1989 in Portland, VIC, and was buried in East Geelong.
