I was shocked when I saw this picture. I have an original portrait identical to this one, except Martina is seated. Christian and Martina would be my great-great grandparents. Their daughter Frances married my great grandfather Frank Orth Sr. We do not know very much about this side of the family. My great grandmother Frances died at an early age due to some form of crippling arthritis.
