Enlisted in WWII,was assigned to A Company 116th Infantry Regiment and entered on Omaha Beach on 6/6/44,Went MIA on D-Day and was held at Stalag IV-F Work Camp at Hartmannsdorf,Chemnitz,Saxony in Germany and stayed there until recaptured 5/17/45 by 67th Infantry Division(US) His MOS was 744:Rifleman,Not sure on original enlistment date,but he re-enlisted in October 24.1946 US Army Service Number:42000042
