    Perchie was born to John and Ruthie Dotstop Estep, and had siblings Roman Howard (1919-1976), Anna (born 1923), and George E. Estep (1927-1998). Perchie married Opal Faye (Massey) Estep (1926-1985) on February 17th 1944 in Boone West Virginia, and he later married Edna Mae Estep (1931-2009). He had children Juanita Thomas, Russell Lee, Nettie Ann Harper, Betty D. Good, Helen Kay Barker, Geneva Gail Kinder, Nancy Lou Gillenwater, Michael Lee "Leo" Estep, Frank James Estep, Carl Edward Estep, and a foster daughter Elizabeth Stringer.

    NELLIS - Perchie L. Estep , 79, of Nellis died April 21, 2004, in Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruthie Dotson Estep ; his first wife, Opal Faye Estep ; one daughter, Juanita Thomas; and one son, Russell Lee Estep . He was a retired timber man and a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Estep ; five daughters, Nettie Ann Harper of Lillington, N.C., Betty D. Good of Gilboa, Helen Kay Barker and Geneva Gail Kinder, both of Ashford, Nancy Lou Gillenwater of Nellis; one foster daughter, Elizabeth Stringer; three sons, Michael Lee "Leo" Estep of Ashford, Frank James Estep of Oberlin, Ohio, Carl Edward Estep of Lillington, N.C.; 31 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Petry- Estep Cemetery, Chelyan
