Alfred A. Stratton
Alfred A. Stratton, Company G, 147th New York Volunteer Infantry. Severely wounded in Battle of Petersburg, VA, 1864. After being dishcarged from service, he had himself photographed and sold the photos to help support his family. Wife: Julia E. Stratton, Daughter: Alice Stratton, Son: Harry D. Stratton, born Dec 1871. Photo was taken in New York City, 1869, when he was 24 years old.

Does anyone know where Alfred A. Stratton is buried?
He died at 29, but had become a minister, and served as rector of the Epihany Episcopal Church in Washington. Perhaps the church has a record of his burial in 1874.
