Althea A Green

Althea " Birdie" Green was a amazing mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Everyone that knew her, knew that she loved her kids. She was a strong women and she fought a good fight. She will always be remembered and her name will carry on. I remember how I always got into trouble because I just would not listen to her, how I thought I was older then I really was. Little did I know that she was just being a amazing mother. Protecting me for this crazy world. I will forever be thankful. I also remember many times she made something out of nothing. She always made sure her kids was taking care of no matter what. You know, it was not always bad times growing up. We had so many great times as well. She always thought that she could dance, if you put some music on she'll be out on the dance floor. Playing shades was one of her favorite things to do when she wasn't watching the stories or sitting on the front steps drinking her pepsi while her granddaughter sitting next to her and her youngest son at the gas station pumping people gas, and her two daughters in the house fighting like always. It's so many memories of my mother that I have and I will cherish them forever.
