Yvonne Blalock Rosa is his mom. Lorraine was his stepmother. Myron is his brother. There was another younger brother Jimmy. He is asking who your parents are.

Jane Spahn Andrew reminds me so much of my father , Douglas MacGeorge, I thank you for posting these pictures, because, sadly , I do not have any of them.

Jane Spahn My dad was Douglas, and my mom is Elisabeth. She was usually called either 'Brownie,' or 'Betty.' Since I was born in 1958, I always felt as though I missed out on alot of family introductions. I do have an older sister, Amy Cecelia, born in 1949, & named after both grandmothers , and an older brother, Douglas David,JR, born in 1952. Does he know of them at all ?

Yvonne Blalock Sorry for the delay in responding to your posts. My house is for sale and so much of my stuff is already packed, including all my genealogy research!

These pictures are my step-dad's family. (Richard MacGeorge). But it seems I copied the names directly off the back of the photos. I have no idea who would have written it, it seems it was in pencil and cursive...but it has been while.

Nevertheless, when I do get my hands on them again, I'll do my best to compare what you have said with what I have in my files.

Any idea how you and Richard are related? (Again, my records are stored.)

Jane Spahn I don't recall hearing about anyone named "Richard" when I was growing up. I do know we traveled from Michigan to Minnesota to visit my dad's family ~ I was maybe 4, so i don't remember a whole lot, except for going fishng.Who were Richard's parents? I understand about having stuff packed up & unable to have easy access to things, it can drive you crazy.

Yvonne Blalock Richard's father was Ansel Paul MacGeorge. Does that ring a bell with you? I know in my genealogy I have his tree back to something like 1595 or so.

Jane Spahn I am so sorry for your loss. After reading your post, I remember being asked about a year ago if I was related to the MacGeorge family in Kentucky The person said she had played on a college volleyball team with someone with that last name.

Yvonne Blalock Thank you for your kind words. I know the boys are in KY, but I really don't know much about them or their families.
