Angus Kennedy - Islay, Scotland (1831 - 1888)

Taken in .

A photo of Angus Kennedy. A shoemaker, he and his family came to Galt, Ontario in 1861 from Islay, Scotland. He and his wife, Margaret McGillevry had 8 children, two of which went on to have families. Colin Kennedy and Louisa Helena Farr (my line) and Margaret Kennedy and Walter Seymour Allward. I am interested in connecting with family members (and reconnecting with some that I have lost touch with). Please e-mail me if you feel you have a connection. Cheers!

Scott McNally I believe he is a relative of mine. It is strange seeing his picture for the first time

Scott McNally My grandfather was a Kennedy and his family all came from Islay. I spent most of my schools holidays there as a child. Due to the size of the island I am pretty sure this gentleman must be a relation of mine. I have never thought about tracing my family history before but I might have a look into it now
