Anne Martin Suffragette

Anne Henrietta Martin (1875-1951), suffragette, with a coat that I adore! Anne was born in Nevada (near Carson City) and graduated from the University of Nevada in 1894. Then she went on to get a Masters at Stanford University.

Following the passage of the 19th Amendment, she moved to Carmel, CA and remained active in women's issues.
