Arthur Robert Denz, California

My dad, Art Denz was a gifted electronics engineer. He spent most of his life designing communications equipment. Most of his career was spent in what's now known as Silicon Valley. His first engineering job was with ITT his hometown of Chicago, IL. In the mid 1960s he was the Chief Engineer of Simpson Electric there. He returned to California and helped start Stanford Telecommunications in Palo Alto. Art had a lifelong passion for building and flying model airplanes and belonged to the Bay Area Soaring Society. Art was married to Gen Denz and had 5 children, Joan, Edward, James, Ann, and Joseph.
