Benjamin Franklin Maddux, WW1

Photo Details

WWI Soldiers in US Army: Benjamin Franklin Maddux, standing, far left, fought in France in WWI. He suffered from PSTS after the war and lived like a hermit, residing in my grandparents basement for many years. He was affected by mustard gas, a biproduct of WWI. He was such a quiet man, remained unmarried and died in Monterey Park, CA. War is a terrible thing.
