I've been looking for her grave for years. The last time was in 1968 with my mother Betty Reece (the spelling is a result of change somewhere in our line of relatives). Many of our kinfolks still go by Reese. The main branch of Reese side of our family where settled in Van Zandt , Smith, and Kaufman county.
Betty Jo was killed in an auto accident Feb.16, 1970. I was in Vietnam at the time. Mother did remember where there Ca. home was. We found it and she remember going to Beverly Hills school. We never found Bessie's grave site in 1968,that was the last time I saw my mom alive. Mother had a hope chest full of all our family photos. The chest was stolen from the family by our evil step-mother. There was a Bible in it that had all our family tree. The step mother come to have the chest when our father (had been in divorce procedure) and sister were killed in an auto accident in Dec.1976. Accidents have cost us dearly.
