The Bowling Family of Clay and Laurel County, Kentucky, c.1940's. Children of Alex Bowling and Lucinda McFadden.
Front row: Mary (Bowling) McCowan, Ruth (Bowling) Parsley, Nancy (Bowling) Brummett, and Barbara (Bowling) Humfleet. Ruth was my paternal grandmother's mother.
Back row: Isaac, Abraham, Pleasant, Sidney, and Potter Bowling.
The children not in the picture were Jesse, George, Bert, and Frank.

My Bowling/Bolling relatives were/are from Clay co., Kentucky.
My GtGrs were Alfred Bowling & Alabama Boln.
I also descend from the Andrew Baker-Mary/Molly Bowling line.
My 5th GtGrs were Rev. Jesse Bowling & Mary Pennington(their son, Justice, is my GtGrs' line, who was GtGr Jobe Bolling's mother was GtGtGr Sarah/Sally Ann Baker.
The Bakers are also related from my father's line-Hoskins.
