Colonel Lorenzo A Brieba, Commander of the 'Deterrence Force' arriving @ the cutting edge of battle between Tagum & Zamboanga Philippines September 2013 in this raw declassified photo from the documentary “War Was Where We Were”, Colonel Brieba, Commander, Special Forces Reinforcement, 13th Group Black Ops, in one of his final clandestine missions from the era known as ‘Black13’, during the relay from Phitsanulok to Zamboanga to Davao to Tagum to counter-attack the reproach of the New People’s Army (NPA) just moments after battling the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) in Zamboanga.
ESTABAN GOMEZ WE ARE HERE
The New People's Army (NPA) is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), estimated by the C.I.A. as having 6,000 to 10,000 strong members. It was formed and founded by Filipino hero, Bernabe Buscayno, aka “Kumander Dante" on March 29, 1969. It was ‘Commander Dante and his fighters who joined forces with Jose Maria Sison, founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines on December 26, 1968. Buscayno's group officially became the New People's Army (NPA) on March 29, 1969. The Maoist NPA conducts armed guerrilla struggle based on the strategical line of a protracted 'people's war'.
The NPA is designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department and terrorist group by the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy. The Government of the Philippines, however, had delisted the NPA as a terrorist organization in 2011 and has resumed preliminary peace talks pending formal negotiations with the NPA's parent political organization, the CPP. There have been reports that special units of the People’s Liberation Army of the People’s Republic of China have been shipping arms to the NPA. There was an unknown source of supply of Type 56 Assault Rifles to the NPA linked to this entity.
On 27 May 2013, the NPA ambushed a truck in Allacapan, Cagayan, transporting an elite police commando unit, by first detonating a roadside bomb and then opening fire. The attack killed 7 police commandos and wounded 8. The attack came shortly after the government suspended all peace talks with the NPA, following the rebels refusal to accept an "immediate ceasefire".
On September 9, 2013 when a Rogue MNLF Elements (RME) under the Sulu State Revolutionary Command (SSRC) led by Ustadz Habier Malik & Khaid Ajibon attempted to raise a flag of the self-proclaimed Bangsamoro Republik at Zamboanga City Hall, which had earlier declared it’s independence on August 12, 2013 in Talipao, Sulu, an armed conflict in Zamboanga City, Philippines, between the forces of the Republic of the Philippines and this faction of the Moro National Liberation Front, erupted into an armed incursion, described as a "standoff", a "siege", and a "humanitarian crisis", and was met by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), which sought to free hostages and expel the MNLF from the city. The standoff degenerated into urban warfare and brought parts of the city under a standstill for days.
The clashes caused the displacement of more than 100,000 people, the occupation of several villages by the MNLF, the deaths of several civilians, the closure of the Zamboanga International Airport, and the slowdown of economic activity in the city.
The beginning of the end of the Zamboanga City crisis or Battle of Zamboanga was initiated when ‘Code 24’ was verbally delivered to Colonel Brieba during a discreet meeting in Arlington Virginia. Brieba had been an expert in 'MOUT' (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) and was currently covering the Thailand Red Shirt issue in Bangkok for the last three years as the Covert Commander & National Advisor of Special Operations in South East Asia.
Brieba entered the Philippines operating under an umbrella organization using ‘L.B. - Ace Enterprises’ and ‘Lorenzo’ shipping containers for cover and concealment of supplies. After the ‘sequester’ under the Obama administration during Sep 2013 the situation in the Philippines became tight. Lack of resources and personnel made the situation there more volatile. Brieba under his GHOST image hand-delivered the SPECTER “Deterrence Team’ (a Black Light Unit) previously positioned in Phitsanulok Thailand to Davao Philippines overnight and within four days planned and took back the town of Zamboanga in what would become known as the ‘Zamboanga City Crisis’ against the Moro National Liberation Front, rescuing all hostages.
He immediately headed to the town of Tagum where he was notified that about 30 elements of the NPA had been spotted entering the village and upon arrival counter-attacked the ambush which had wounded 5 filipino soldiers in a road side bombing, capturing what was believed to be a Chinese made AK47 assault rifle.
He rallied troops for a possible counter-attack from all sides, from all sources, and maintained the line while securing almost 300 prisoners from both engagements for interrogation between the different locals.
Brieba continued the chase deep into the jungles of Samal for 3 days where he located certain remnants and negotiated a peace based on an amnesty that would cover the crime of rebellion and all other crimes "in pursuit of political beliefs," but not including crimes against chastity, rape, torture, kidnapping for ransom, use, and trafficking of illegal drugs, and other crimes for personal ends and violations of international law or convention and protocols even if alleged to have been committed in pursuit of political beliefs.
On September 28, the government declared the end of military operations in Zamboanga City, unfortunately Commander Malik, the leader of the MNLF forces, escaped and remains at large.
In 2014, Lieutenant Colonel Ramon Zagala, then speaking for the Armed Forces of the Philippines said "[the communist rebels-NPA] have lost their ideological mooring and now engaged in extortion [activities]" when it was confirmed that the NPA collected "revolutionary taxes" in areas where it operated mostly from businesses including mining and logging operations - especially foreign owned enterprises that provided employment to the people with the belief that crippling the country's economy would give favor for a revolution to occur.
The Communist Party of the Philippines refers to the NPA as "the tax enforcement agency of the people’s revolutionary government".
In 2013, the CIA had estimated the strength of the NPA between 6,000 to 10,000. In 2014, the Armed Forces of the Philippines estimated their strength at 4,000. SPECTER had performed what the US military and it’s allies could not do under the Obama Administration.
“The Philippines Campaign” would be one of the last missions performed by Col Brieba and his clandestine ‘Black Light’ group were he would be deemed the greatest of living covert operatives in US history, retiring undefeated, considering the odds, and continuous ‘stab in the back’ from the US political spectrum and New World Order throughout the decades.
Pertaining to these objectives, Brieba made a statement to government officials upon his return to Alexandria during a ceremony were no medals were awarded, nor written recognition acknowledged, titled:
“iam redit et Virgo, redeunt Saturnia regna” (And now justice returns, honored rules return);
A year before I was born in 1963, Colonel James Nicholas "Nick" Rowe, then a First Lieutenant, was sent to the Republic of Vietnam as Executive Officer of Detachment A-23, 5th Special Forces Group. On October 29, 1963, after only three months in-country, Rowe was captured by Viet Cong elements along with Congressional Medal of Honor winner, Captain Humberto "Rocky" R. Versace, and Sergeant Daniel L. Pitzer.
Separated from other POWs, Rowe spent 62 months in captivity with only brief encounters with fellow American POWs. Rowe was held in the U Minh Forest, better known as the "Forest of Darkness," in extreme southern Vietnam.
During most of his five years in captivity Rowe was held in a cage. He managed to escape on December 31, 1968, after overpowering his guard.
He was picked up by a UH-1 helicopter, becoming one out of only thirty-four American prisoners of war to escape captivity during the Vietnam War.
In 1974 he retired from the US Army and decided to become a politician. He failed.
In 1981, Rowe was recalled to active duty as a lieutenant colonel to design and build a course based upon his experience as a POW.
He is credited with developing the rigorous Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training program and the U.S. military doctrine which institutionalizes these techniques and principles to be followed by captured personnel.
Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) is now a requirement for graduation from the U.S. Army Special Forces Qualification Course. SERE is taught at the Colonel James "Nick" Rowe Training compound at Camp Mackall, North Carolina.
Camp Mackall, is named in honor of a Private ‘no class’ John Thomas Mackall, who was wounded in an attack on his first mission, by French Vichy aircraft during Operation Torch. Evacuated from the North Africa scene, Mackall, died at a British hospital in Gibraltar.
Camp Mackall is now the setting for the primary training of the U.S. Army Special Forces. Inside the camp is the Resistance Training Laboratory.
The Colonel James "Nick" Rowe Training Compound there hosts the SERE, SFAS, & Q Course etc.. The obstacle course at the camp, arguably the hardest obstacle course in the U.S. Army, is nick-named the "Nasty Nick" in honor of Rowe.
In 1987 Colonel Rowe was assigned as Chief of the Army division of the Joint U.S. Military Advisory Group. He was providing counter-insurgency training for the Armed Forces of the Philippines working closely with the CIA and intelligence organizations of the Republic of the Philippines, involved in it’s decade-long program to penetrate the New People's Army (NPA), the communist insurgency that had threatened to overthrow the Philippines' government.
Like Nick Rowe, Staff Sergeant Barry Sadler was another Special Forces soldier who had fought in Viet Nam. He became famous for creating “The Ballad of the Green Beret”. He wrote a series of books based on Casca, the Roman Centurion, believed to have speared Jesus Christ while crucified on the cross. From this act, Casca, would become immortal after staining himself with the blood of Christ, cursed to live a soldier’s life till the Second Coming, meanwhile gets to participates in future history’s greatest battles.
Rowe like SSG Barry Sadler, were larger than life ‘Green Berets’ figures in the US Army Special Forces Hollywood branch. Both would survive Viet Nam but would be killed in the 80’s just like Disco.
By February 1989, Colonel Rowe had claimed to have obtained intelligence information that the communists were planning a major terrorist act. He warned Washington that a high-profile figure was about to be assassinated and that he himself was 2nd or 3rd on the assassination list.
At around 0700 hrs of 21 APR 1989, like clockwork, as he was being driven to work at the Joint U.S. Military Advisory Group headquarters in an armored limousine, Colonel Rowe's vehicle was hit by gunfire from a .45 caliber pistol and an M16 rifle near the corner of Tomas Morato Street and Timog Avenue in Quezon City.
Twenty-one shots hit the vehicle. It was claimed that one round entered through an unarmored portion of the vehicle frame and struck Colonel Rowe in the head, killing him instantly, while chauffeur Joaquin Vinuy was wounded.
Whether or not Rowe had been frequenting prostitution establishments beforehand as opposed to dedicating himself to the intelligence genre then perhaps these premonitions would not have occurred.
The truth to the fact that all weapons used in this attack were ‘american made’ and whether the head wound was actually an executioner style delivered round is of question here.
It would be years later that the New People's Army claimed responsibility for this assassination. Filipino nationals Juanito T. Itaas (principal) and Donato B. Continente (accomplice) were convicted by a Philippine court and sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
Continente was shortly released in 1995 under an amnesty program of the Philippine government.
Previous to Rowe's execution, SSG Barry Sadler himself was shot in the head in Guatemala City on September 8, 1988, during a strange turn of events…a taxi cab robbery gone array.
Sadler sustained brain damage and upon being released from the hospital was reported missing till he was found dead at his mother’s home in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
Prior to the incident that led to his death, SSG Sadler had shot and killed an unarmed man named Lee Emerson Bellamy. Sadler had been previously accused and confronted by Bellamy several times. Bellamy who had been a song writer as well, accused Sadler of having a relationship with his wife. Sadler’s prison sentence was eventually commuted as the court ruled the killing was in self-defense.
Like Tiberius before them, stepson of Augustus, uncle of Claudius, and great-grand uncle of Nero, Tiberius was one of Rome's greatest generals, conqueror of Pannonia, Dalmatia, Raetia, and Germania, but he too would become to be remembered as a dark, reclusive, and sombre figure who never really desired to be emperor, but called "the gloomiest of men" by Pliny the Elder.
After the death of Tiberius’ son, Drusus Julius Caesar, he became more reclusive and aloof. Against better judgment, Tiberius exiled himself from Rome and left administration largely in the hands of his unscrupulous Praetorian Prefects Lucius Aelius Sejanus and Quintus Naevius Sutorius Macro. It was during the government of Tiberius that in the Roman province of Judea, Jesus Christ was crucified by Pontius Pilate.
Tiberius' grand-nephew and adopted grandson, the perverted Caligula, succeeded Tiberius upon his death. This is how it is to be for Washington’s New World but with Barry Sadler singing along the Kumbaya phrase of the Green Berets..
Is there any dignity from a man who was once severely wounded in the knee by a feces-covered punji stick while on a patrol in the Central Highlands southeast of Pleiku, Viet Nam. Barry Sadler already had dysentery at the moment. While recuperating, he promised himself that if he successfully recovered from the infection, he would give away the rights to a song he was then helping to write. Is the fate of a feces-covered punji stick the authenticity of "The Ballad of the Green Berets"?
Is there any stability to the mind of a man who had been kept in cage for almost five years. I should think not. We do not know much about his captivity except what he told us. There was a dark side to him. One must commit themselves violently as if there wasn’t something else there. Must there be.. Does one escape from heaven or depart hell when kindly asked to leave. Colonel Rowe was killed by a street gang in the Philippines called the Alex Boncayao Brigade.
A training facility at the US Army Intelligence Center and School at Fort Huachuca, Arizona would be named in honor of Nick Rowe, as well as a dedicated building of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Charlottesville Virginia. An office facility, the Rowe Building, of the Joint United States Military Assistance Group in the Philippines, US Embassy, Manila, is also named in his honor as well as the Colonel James N. "Nick" Rowe Memorial, located in Veteran's Memorial Park in Union Beach, New Jersey, dedicated October 9, 2004, by classmates from the West Point Class of 1960 like Major General Ted Crowley and attendees like Ross Perot.
I do not care for the SERE’s course. It is not necessary and a waste of time and resources over nothing worth learning.
Time should be averted to learning the ‘Arts of War’.. altering it’s rules.. it’s various maneuvers.. mastering different techniques and developing complex methods of unique in-fighting… hand to hand.. metal on meat.. the spirit of the bayonet.. bushido.. and in proper enemy identification. In this you will never find yourself in the need to be captured alive nor cherish the thought of it…
“Never Negotiate” is the training doctrine of a SPECTER GHOST which is why the US military has evolved into a failure. Soldiers have become police men and there is nothing worst in a society than a law enforcer. It is proof that the government has failed it’s people.
I did not return to the Philippines to fight communism or terrorism. We have that here in an unlimited supply in the USSA.
On Sept. 29, 2009, in an isolated stretch of a coconut tree-line dirt road in Indanan, Philippines, Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Shaw & Staff Sgt. Jack Martin III of JBLM's 1st Special Forces Group and two Filipino marines were wounded in an attack.
Not even a gun battle ensued after a powerful land mine blast caused their passing Humvee to flip over, killing the Americans and wounding the Filipino troops who came under attack while en route to deliver food and other supplies to U.S. Seabees helping construct a school building and dig a water well for poor villagers of Kagay village in Indanan, a hilly farming town where militants belonging to the Moro National Liberation Front and the smaller but more violent Abu Sayyaf have had an active presence.
U.S. and Filipino forces appeared to have been lured to pass through the land mine-ridden hinterland at the time by the militants, who resented the construction of school buildings and other projects by outsiders.
U.S. military personnel usually travel by helicopters for safety, since villagers often flew kites, an aviation hazard that prompted the Americans to travel by land.
Before my arrival, long after Magellan before me, hundreds of American military personnel have been providing counterterrorism training and advising Filipino troops battling the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf militants in southern provinces including Sulu since 2002. That year, an American Green Beret was killed by a bomb outside an army camp in southern Zamboanga city in an attack blamed on Abu Sayyaf militants.
JBLM's 1st Special Forces Group has had a continual presence in the country since then but finally on a sunday, June 1, 2014, Philippine police captured a suspected Muslim rebel bomber who allegedly was involved in that 2009 land mine attack that killed the U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers from Joint Base Lewis-McChord and a Filipino marine in a restive southern province.
Miraji Bairulla, a bomb expert for the Moro National Liberation Front rebel group who uses the rebel name "Mahang," did not resist when policemen, backed by Philippine marines, served a warrant for his arrest in the town of Indanan in Sulu province.
Finally in order to fulfill the scriptures enacted in 1964, the Year of the Birth of the Prophet, the Philippines as the 64th-largest country in the world, all I can say is that “Juan Sebastián Elcano was here”…
About Lorenzo A Brieba
There are no birth certificates or any type of proof pertaining to the date & place of birth of Lorenzo A Brieba according to several investigations conducted by the FBI. He simply did not exist according to birth records. His origins remain a mystery to include his actual name. All that is known is confirmed by family members who stated he was born in Havana Cuba January 6, 1964 during "The Epiphany of the Lord". He is maternally linked to the 'Miqueli' family (Ashkenazi Jews from Nuremberg Germany 1724 circa), who resided in Sicily & Spain during the 'Converso' & 'Tribunal of the Holy Office of the Inquisition' prior to settling in San Antonio de Los Banos Cuba in 1894. His paternal connection, Brieba, is of the Basque race (Oriental Jews - 13th tribe of Levi), whose language has no identifiable roots.. RH-Negative blood types.. genetically different than all other beings on the planet.. human anomalies & the last remnant of the Atlantean race — the reactivation of the Vril for the dominance of the Teutonic race over all others. The Brieba family originated from the French Basque Northern Country (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) but resided in Logrono & La Coruna Spain. The Town of Brieva Spain, the last vestibule of Cro-Magnum man, is named after them. During WWI, Brieba's great great grandfather, Christopher Brieba was the elder of five brothers of which four were killed in front line battles. As the last surviving member, Christopher, a Utopian, departed europe to settle in La Habana Cuba emulating the Latin Culture. ...more about Lorenzo A Brieba
