Lawman of the West. My Great great Grandmothers brother

Lee Skutt Conni,
I live in Seligman and have been researching the Commodore as supposily my great-grand mother Sophie Schucking took care of him during his illness. She was good friends with Mrs. Owens. I recently discovered my Great Uncle on my dad's side was also good friends with C. P. I read all your postings and have a little info on Elizabeth Jane Barrett. She was still living in Seligman in 1930 with a younger brother Edward A. Barrett. In fact she is living near my great grand parents and they are all listed on the same census record.

1930 Census of Seligman, Yavapai, Arizona
Owen, Elizabeth J. Head W F 51 Widowed Pennsylvania
Barrett, Edward L. Brother W M 49 Divorced Pennsylvania Retail Salesman

According to the papers I have she had a terrible time settling her husbands affairs in order to sell the property they shared. My aunt even told me she stayed here several years after her death due to that fact. Two years later on July 2, 1932 she was living in Lincoln, Nebraska and Edward was living in Douglas, Arizona. There are several Barrets listed in Douglas during the 1930 census. James H. Barrett may be another possible brother. As for her parents none of these names appear together in any earlier census. She left arizona without even putting a headstone on her husband's grave. It went unmarked for several years. I have gotten several pages of info from the museum in Holbrook and from the Arizona Archives in Phoenix. I would like to share info with you if possible, thanks Lee
