Ellis Dean FULLER was born 18 April 1897 in Monett, McDonald County, Missouri, a son of Willam Thompson FULLER and Lillie HOLMAN. In 1917, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, served in France, and was discharged from the 645th Aero Squadron (Supply) as a corporal in 1919. He wed Nancy Ouida HARRIS in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1921, and then Myra SMITH in Durant, Oklahoma in 1929. His careers included service as a deputy U.S. marshal in Muskogee and as a chief deputy sheriff in Lamar County, Texas. He had been a member of the Masonic lodge in Paris, Texas, and volunteered as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for several years. He died 1 April 1978 and is buried beside his wife Myra SMITH in Antioch Cemetery, Biardstown, Lamar County, Texas.
