My ggg grandfather George Washington Giffen was a prisoner at Andersonville. He was captured after being wounded at the battle of Stony Creek, near Chickamauga. He survived Andersonville, and was exchanged at Camp Parole, Maryland. He took a train to Nashville, TN, and then walked all the way home to Paoli, Orange Co, Indiana.

My Grandmother's Mother was a Nancy Jane Horton Markle. There were also Charley and Wife and son Curtis related to Nancy. Lots of other Hortons Buried at Gott Cemetary in Miller County Missouri. They have a nice free Internet stop . You might be interested if any relation in Missouri. Paul
