Daniel Ryan Monument, MA
Daniel Ryan, son of James and Mary A.(Winn)Ryan drowned while trying to save the life of a friend who had fallen through Lake Saltonstall on February 15,1890.
Many of the citizens of Haverhill donated one dime each so that a monument could be built in recognition of Daniel's heroism.
