This is a wedding picture of my great grandparents, John Cable Harrison and Dora Alice Piatt taken in 1885. I love her dress! Grandpa Harrison died of the influenza in the 1930s and Grandma lived to be 94 years old living in Savonna, Ohio until she moved to Van Wert, Ohio in the 1950s to be near her daughter, Bertha. She died in 1959 in Van Wert and they are both buried in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison, Ohio. They had five children. ... show more
