Earl and Lola Barnicle, schoolchildren

I'd love to know if Earl and Lola are relatives of yours, and if you can share more info (I don't have any more than I've written in these Ancient Faces listings). Earl and Lola look like they might have had a pretty hard life or difficult family circumstances, but that's just from looking at their faces compared to the other children in the photo.
