This snapshot of Lucille Gary (1877 - 1959) was taken at her daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Gary Moran in Richmond, Virginia's Westover Hills neighborhood circa 1950. Lucille had grown up in a large family and always had a full house throughout her married life. Following the death of her husband, Maeadows Tucker Gary (1880 - 1947), Lucille lived with her daughter, Betty.
