When did they first mistaken Eugene Rice was the unknown child ? My guess would be 2006.

Eugene Rice traveled 3rd class with his mother Margaret and 4 older brothers. During the sinking, the family was last seen on decks. Eugene was first discovered as the unknown child by mistake.
