Lyle Irby Harman of Amarillo, Potter County, Texas United States was born on September 5, 1923 at Home in Goodlett, Hardeman County to Era Estelle Martin. He had a sister June Harman Casteel Mosley. Lyle Harman died at age 89 years old on October 25, 2012 at Ussery-Roan VA in Amarillo, Potter County, and was buried in Texhoma, Sherman County.

She graduated from Gruver, TX high school in 1951, married Lyle Irby Harman May 31, 1952. They lived at Phillips Petroleum's Hansford plant, also known as Sherhan. They lived at Phillips Petroleum's Tex Booster plant. They moved the company house into Texhoma, TX in 1962. They had three children. In 2000 they moved to Amarillo, TX into Lyle's mother's house. Lyle passed away in 2012.
