Francis C. Waid was born April 22, 1833 in Woodcock Township, Crawford Co., Pa. to Ira Canfield Waid and Elizabeth Morehead. Francis had a twin brother Franklin Waid who died at age 21.
Francis married Eliza C. Masiker in 1854 and had 3 sons: Franklin, Guinnip and Fredrick. Eliza died in 1888 and Francis remarried to Anna Elisa Tyler in 1889. Francis died suddenly on February 20, 1892.

Photo found in an antique store in Snohomish, Washington.

Michele Mormando I wonder if the name is Guinnniss. In the 1800's ss was frequently written as a "leading s" which looked like the beginning of the letter "p" in lower case, followed by an "s" which may have a rounded top. Thereby appearing in handwritten records as a lower case "p". This is very common in my French and German records of the same time. Mosse looks like Mope and Riess as Riep.
