Frank Delano's photo of a Butcher shop window at Thanksgiving, 1940. You don't see butcher shops like this anymore - and you don't see prices like this, either! The meat ranges from 8 cents to 18 cents a pound. Oh, "the good old days"! Of course, this was coming out of the Depression - wages weren't very good . . .
