George M. McNeal

This is my great-grandfather, George Marshall McNeal. He was born around the 1840's (different records conflict this date), but there is some mystery as to where. Oral family history says that he was born aboard the ship traveling from Ireland to Canada, and that his mother died at sea after giving birth. Some census records list his place of birth as Ireland, some list it as Canada. He died and is buried in Michigan.
