George's family served in the War of 1812
George King (1789-1862), with his four brothers, Christian, Peter, Philip, and Jacob, as well as their brother-in-law, Adam Spohn, all fought in the Ohio militia during the War of 1812. Several of the brothers were assigned to the army directly under Gen. Wm. Henry Harrison at Sandusky, Ohio.
Date & Place: at Zion Cemetery in Perry Co, Ohio USA
