Uploaded to ancientfaces.com is a photo of Gertrude's brother, Alan Tobin. Gertrude was born "Alice Gertrude Tobin" March 23, 1895 in Mill Valley, CA to John Franklin Tobin and Alice May Sims. Gertrude's father, John Tobin, died young in 1906 and her mother Alice remarried to Frank Leathe, a plumber...the family moved to Sausalito, and can be found in the 1910 census, along with little brother John.
