Mystery: what is this Plains Chiefs name and where was his tribe.?

Linda Baysinger Peck I don't know the person's name. I think, based on the clothing that the tribe would most likely be Lakota.
The Lakota in South Dakota wore this type of eagle feather headdress and bone hairpipe breastplates. Maybe you could contact the museums in western South Dakota. I am thinking of the many photos I saw at the Crazy Horse monument museum. Sincerely, Linda Peck

LindaCarole McIntyre In what are did the people live in that owned the Bible. This might give some direction. Looks like Lakota to me.
