Helen Gooding Love was my grandma.

She was married to Clifford Edward Gooding on 10/31/31. She was 17 years old. The divorced on 12/1/37. The divorce decree cited extreme cruelty from Clifford Gooding. The marriage was annulled. She quickly remarried on 12/3/37 to Arthur J Todd. From what she told me she left your dad with his dad after she had my dad, Robert Barron, 9/6/35 (he was adopted by Helens 3rd husband, Albert Barron). She was afraid of Clifford Gooding and just left. But, from all I know about Helen, she used men as a means of support. Clifford Gooding married a couple of more times.
