I am a retired library director, novelist and historian (Portsmouth, Virginia), now working on a 6 volume family history. Among the family thing is a trove of old photogaphs starting before the Civil War including several from Holbrook's Military Academy in Sing Sing, NY, from 1887 through 1891 with my grandfather's autograph book and a collection of letterheads, mainly relating to the parents of students there.
