Horace C Emert of Knoxville, Knox County, TN was born on July 12, 1930 to Horace McKinnley Emert and Zelma Hannah (Georgia) Cattlett. He married Shirley Ann (Ricker) Emert, and they were married until Shirley's death on September 12, 1994. They had children Sharon Kay Emert, Debra Lynn Emert Mingle, Soni Gayle Emert, Cynthia Diane Emert Willoughby, Laura Jean Emert Holtzclaw, Horace C Emert Jr., and William Eugene Emert. He would also marry Shirley Ann Ricker. Horace Emert died at age 69 years old on December 16, 1999.
