Howard Walter Tijou, age 10, of Toronto, Canada, boarded the Lusitania as 2nd class with his father. He was last seen playing on deck with some boys when the ship was torpedoed. His father survived the disaster but Howard ended up lost.

Some witnesses say Howard fell off the ship (Lusitania) when it was torpedoed.
