In the Navy! When William Lafayette Terry was born on July 21, 1889, in Oklahoma, his father, Duncan, was 33 and his mother, Harriet Sliger, was 30. He had one child with Vera J. in 1930. He then married Ruby C. Unruh and they had one child together in 1942. He died on October 10, 1976, in Calistoga, California, at the age of 87, and was buried in Lower Lake, California.
