Eric Cole Cropped from an original image courtesy of David Morin. David Morin has the original tin type, which was taken in Ohio approximately 1864 where I.G. Young was serving with the 11th New Hampshire Infantry. The unit later took part in the Mississippi River campaign including Vicksburg.

Eric Cole Hi, Unfortunately I do not know. I believe that he still has descendants in New Hampshire and Maine. I did quite a bit of genealogy research on the earlier descendants of I.G. Young, because it appeared that he was one of my ancestors, but it turns out that he wasn't. I still have the research if you are interested.
