Cropped from an original image courtesy of David Morin. David Morin has the original tin type, which was taken in Ohio approximately 1864 where I.G. Young was serving with the 11th New Hampshire Infantry. The unit later took part in the Mississippi River campaign including Vicksburg.
Have any of his decendants done DNA?I thought that was a photo of my son.
