From left, James Madison Shaw, Jr., Emma Shaw, and Henry Varnes. James Madison, Jr. was sixth child of James Madison Shaw. He was born in 1878. He married his cousin Emma, born in 1888. Emma was the daughter of J. Bryant (brother of James Madison). and "Carrie" Shaw. Henry Varnes was married to one of Shaw girls.
